Arvind Kejriwal's TAMU Visit

After few emails/calls, finally we convinced the AID-Houston and other chapters that there is genuine interest among people in TAMU to have a lecture by Arvind Kejriwal. Finally, we are having university level talk, to be hosted by Institute of Asia Pacific, TAMU and India Association with AID-TAMU, on October 25th at 5:30pm.

We hope to create more awareness about RTI among the indian community here.

This trip of Arvind, which is not complete yet, has made me much more aware of RTI than I previously was. Along with this, I became more aware of:

1. www.ashoka.org I think its a great great initiative.
2. Satyendra Dubey foundation, it reminded me of something I have known and forgotten. But this time I have learnt not to forget.
3. I am reading this very interesting book. I saw Arcind's profile, he was awarded Ashoka Fellow, so went to ashoka.org website., there i found this book. Titled "How to change the world: Social Entrepreneures and Power of new ideas" I find this a very inspiring anecdote of legendery people. I am enjoying it. It is more pleasing to see many indians listed on that book.

I hope, by this article, many people who would read this, would click the links and become 'aware'. This is good enough reward to prove my efforts in writing this blog a worthwhile effort.
