Abhishek Murarka And Company

It was noon of last Sunday, and I was fast asleep. The phone rang, it was abhishek calling to make the plan to go to lake Conroe. Well, that plan never materialized, the reason for which are pretty interesting, and are left for Murari to post as comment.

Anyways, later we finalized that we will play soccer and then enjoy BBQ. The Soccer was fun, BD Abhishek and Homarjun teamed up against MC, Murari and KB. Unfortunatley, KB was modest and didnt want to overwhelm the new guys, and underplayed the game. As a result, the first team beat the hell out of the later team. A number of goals were shot, some of them easy, some other equally brilliant. Murari was found complaining about the damage done due to smoking, and MC was almost dead by the end of the game.

We were later joined by Bikram Sharda and Sumantra Dasgupta with lots of beer. The gang enjoyed Chicken BBQ, BBQ rotis and continous supply of Beer and pineapple juices. Murari onc e agian made chhole chat which was admired by everybody.

Below are some of the pictures. For complete photos please visit the online album

Well, I don't think that the later team lost that day. Recollecting your memories will help you realise whose team was more exhausted while playing. Remember that 'Shoulder Push' ;) And I wasn't being modest, I was just taking precautions for my own sake because I was playing for the first time with Murari, BD and MC. At the last we all enjoyed the game and ofcourse BBQ, though there was minimum contribution from my side :D

alright .. this is BD .. and i think i am also capable of providing almost unbiased view of the result :D

Karambir, try to remember the innumerable number of times you had to run back behind the goal and get the ball... that should tell which side scored more goals ... and i think the rule was whoever scores more goals WINS ! :P
hahahahaha ..........

Karambir,

I think you should listen to BD once. Yes I remember the shoulder push. If that were not there, you wud have had one more goal. ha ha

anyways, BD, thanks for providing the unbiased view. I appreciate it.

I will coming to Houston the next saturday (17th is it I think), but will be attending a conference. We can meet for the dinner though.

Well Homarjun and BD,

I don't think that just kicking the ball behind the goal line is considered to be a goal. It has to go in between the two BAR POSTS. And yes I also remember BD, how many times I came from behind and took the ball away from you...hahaha!.But Nevermind...You are always welcomed to play here again. And from now onwards I will keep track of # of goals scored so that there's no question of biased and unbiased view ;)
Aur haan we don't have any problems in coming to Houston and defeating you guys there!
