Return from Austin Photo Blog
This is funny, we went to austin, made sure we had the camera, battery, and charger. And a spare set of batteries. AND We didnt take any pictures IN Austin. Great !!
Well, for the records, We all met at Shalimar and criticised crappy food (we couldnt eat it). The highlights are 2 hours of Sumit's time wasted in waiting for us while Abhishek was driving round and round on Ashish's confused directions. There is some more spice to that journey from ashish's home to shalimar and why we became late, but that is classified.
KB helped Jaggi with his apartment setup. Period. (Do I need say more? )
This [below] is the best smile I could from KB, after two days of tiresom weekend that went in driving and shopping , driving,..and driving.
Well, after food, we went to Clicks Billiards and enjoyed pool games, highlights of which are chatru's horrondous r-a-p-e by abhishek, and awesom shots courtesey Mr. Pilla.
The later part of the nights saw some serious car search by pilla and abhishek, and some serious discussion on India and Indians by three tipsy men Homarjun Ashish and Gaurav (Gola). The rest is left to your imigination.
The much of next evening was spent in test driving mercs and bimmers and acuras, and
serious paper napkins purchases at Walmart super centers and later the crowd went to watch the branbdnew BMW Z4 at Sumit's. Homarjun Gola and Ahsish were found enjoying Chat type food at Swaad India, who were later joined by Vishv Jeet and Ravi. This group later visited mozart cofee, didnt drink cofee, and heded to Trudy's for their famous matrini. We once again forgot our way to the Trudy's ( courtesey Mr. Ravi , who lives in Austin since 2002, A batchmate of Ashish, yes, same ashsih who forgot the way to Shalimar while on Lamar street. FYI, Shalimar is on Lamar st.) . As if it was not enough, on Homarjun's insisting, we all stopped at Cold Stone cream-ry for delicious Pecan Vanilla Passion.
Anyways, the trip ended with this and some of the photos embdded in this blog, were taken in the car during the return journey.

would a bunch of thanks here say it all, for all the driving Abhishek did on sat in austin driving me arnd the town for test drives. thanks buddy!!!!
and homarjun, looking fwd to the nest wknd trip to austin, we shld have pics of the trip this time not the drive.
