Himesh

Picked from Wikipedia: I find it quite amusing:

In an interview withThe Times of India, Himesh claimed that only one per cent people criticize him, and the remaining 99 per cent love his work. But the reality is something else. For example on Orkut(A popular social networking site) there are more Himesh-hate community than Himesh-fan community. And also the memeber count of hate communities is almost 3 times greater than members of his fan-communities. In this way he is the only singer of Indian film industry who has more haters than his lovers.[2].

the people in orkut represent the people who have access to internet. however in india then internet penetration is not upto the extent where we can make use it as a statistics. of course we can state that among the internet savvy people there is a greater percentage of himesh haters... I believe he is more popular among the un-educated class and the class which is not so much on the internet.

Dear Ananymous:

Since you do not have data about Non-Urkut, you probably have no basis other than your personal and self imposed claim of Himesh Reshamiya's popularity amoung un-educated class and the class which does not use internet/orkut.

But, in a democratic country such as ours, Himesh Reshamiya has freedom of expression (in the form of crappy music) and You have freedom to be his (Crappy Music's fan) and I have the freedom to quote Wikiepdia article and find it amusing. I am just indifferent to what you feel about Himesh. I find him least talented musician, singer and even as a person, a watse of flesh, bone and blood tissues, and a symbol of intellectual emptiness that prevails in indian audiences who would shake a hip on any music, not because they enjoy it, but just because they want to.

On another note, leave your name, so that I can add personalilzed pitch to my comments, its boring not to know whom i am bashing.
